Singapore Airlines’ SilkAir Commenced Flights to Vizag in India

Air India Express To Start 27 Additional Flights to Gulf

Air India Express recently announced that it will introduce 27 additional services connecting South India and Gulf from October 28, 2012.

Furthermore, the airline will offer tickets on daily flights to the cities of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Bahrain, Doha, Dammam and Muscat, twice weekly to Salalah and once a week flight to the city of Al-Ain from Kozhikode.

Air India Express will also offer tickets on daily flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, thrice a week to Muscat and four times a week services to Sharjah from Thiruvananthapuram. It will sell tickets on twice daily services to Dubai, three times a week to Muscat and Abu Dhabi and twice a week to Doha and Bahrain from Mangalore.

Flyers Smile As Singapore Airlines Enhances Flights from India

European travellers planning to book flights to Singapore will soon have added flight options when it comes to taking connecting flights via India.

Singapore Airlines, the flag carrier of Singapore, is contemplating to enhance the number of flights to India in its coming winter schedule starting from October. In addition, the national carrier is contemplating to run flights from new destinations.
   
India is an important market for the airline. Currently, the carrier is operating 85 weekly from 10 cities but it will increase its flights to 93. From October 20, the airline’s low-cost arm SilkAir will launch nonstop flights from Visakhapatnam, a port city in South India to the city-state. The new services would be operated with Airbus A319 and A320.
