Post Mumbai, Virgin Mulls Flights to Goa, Hyderabad & Bangalore

British travellers who are often found searching tickets on flights between London and India will soon have added options made available to them by the Virgin Atlantic.

In a bid to tap the increasing travel demand on the famous London-India route, the British carrier is mulling over new flights to popular Indian destinations like Goa, Bangalore and Hyderabad, post the recommencement of its services on its Mumbai route effective from October 28, 2012.

Earlier, the airline had stopped offering tickets on its flights between London and Mumbai due to dwindling profits during the recession period, although it continued to offer tickets on its flights to New Delhi, India’s capital city.

India’s tropical retreat, Goa and South India’s popular cities of Hyderabad and Bangalore have long been on the radar of British holidaymakers who often look for tickets to these destinations for holidays and business pursuits.

The airline’s Airbus A330-300 planes deployed to operate the route feature comfortable upper class suite, enhanced seating and a host of other facilities and cabin updates to offer convenient flying experience to passengers who book tickets with the airline to fly on the popular UK-India route.

Virgin Atlantic is one Britain’s major international airlines that offer flights tickets on its extensive network of international services to North America, the Caribbean, Asia, Africa and Australia from its hubs at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.
