Singapore Airlines to Introduce Third Daily Services to Delhi


One of the premier full service carriers, Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced to boost the frequency of its flights between Singapore and India’s capital, New Delhi. 

The news of the carrier strengthening its frequency between Singapore and India has certainly delighted flyers from the UK and rest of the Europe as they now have even more flexibility to grab tickets for travelling to Singapore via India. 

Presently, the carrier offers tickets on two daily flights destined for India’s capital city and it is all set to increase its daily services to India from 27 October. Furthermore, the airline is expected to deploy its sleek Boeing 777 airliners to route its third weekly service on the popular route! 

The airline endeavours to accommodate the winter rush from the Northern Winter operating season that spans from 27 October 2013 to 29 March 2014. 

From 27 October 2013, SIA and its regional arm, SilkAir will offer tickets on a total of 107 weekly flights to 11 destinations in India including Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram and Visakhapatnam.

In a recent development, the carrier also announced the launch the next generation and the world’s most advanced in-flight entertainment system to date, KrisWorld on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in the coming months.

Based at the Changi Airport, SIA offers tickets on international flights to Asia, North America, Australasia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
