Thai Smile to Launch New Flights between India and Thailand

Travellers who are often to be seen in a look out for tickets on cheap flights between Phuket in Thailand and New Delhi and Mumbai in India will certainly be a happy lot as Thai Smile is launching new direct flights between the destinations.

The light-premium subsidiary of Thai Airways, Thai Smile is offering tickets on direct flights services from Phuket to Mumbai that will start from March 31, 2013 and to New Delhi that will commence from April 2, 2013.

The budget carrier will be offering tickets on four return services per week to each of the two Indian destinations. With its new services, the Thailand based carrier endeavours to cater to the soaring number of passengers who spend on flights tickets to travel on the popular India-Thailand route.

Reports in India indicate that there has been a considerable growth in the number of travellers seeking tickets deals on flights to visit Thailand’s coastal province Phuket in 2012 as compared to 2011. Experts believe the new operations of the budget carrier will offer a further boost to the passenger traffic on Thailand-India sector.

Besides, the airline is geared up to launch flights to the Malaysian capital from March 31, 2013, offering tickets seekers added options.

With its main hub at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Thai Smile offers flights tickets for several domestic and regional destinations.
