Jet Airways Announces Gulf Flights Expansion

Tourists to India from the Gulf region as well as from the UK and rest of Europe will soon have better connectivity options with key Indian destinations as India’s Jet Airways is keen on expanding network in the Gulf.

It is believed that the introduction of these new flights is going to bolster the airline’s presence in the Gulf region, where even now Jet Airways is considered as one of the top choices for flights to India. Jet’s extensive network within India and connectivity to other countries in Asia also offers beneficial options to the patrons.

The airline has launched a new flight service between Mumbai and Sharjah that will start operating from October 18. This will be the carrier’s sixth daily flight to the UAE from India’s financial hub of Mumbai.

One of India’s leading private carriers, Jet Airways will also be recommencing its flights to Kuwait and Bahrain from India’s southern city of Kochi, as part of its winter schedule.

Flight 9W558 will depart Mumbai at 2100 hrs and arrive in Sharjah at 2215 hrs. For the return journey, Flight 9W557 will leave Sharjah airport at 2315 hrs and land in Mumbai at 0315 hrs, the airline’s website revealed.

Kochi-Kuwait flight will be operated four times a week- Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Kochi-Bahrain flights will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The carrier will be deploying the Boeing 737-800s on these routes. Both premiere and economy class seat options will be offered on the flights to cater to passengers with different choices.
