Brits staying longer in Dubai

Figures released in the past week show that so far this year, Britons are spending 20 per cent longer in Dubai than in 2011.

UK-based tourists now spend an average of four-and-a-half days in the emirate, which has been coupled with a 14 per cent rise in the number of guest nights, Breaking Travel News reported.

Although luxury hotels are still favoured by the majority of visitors, apartments and four-star accommodation have seen the biggest increases in the number of guest nights, by 37 per cent and 23 per cent year-on-year respectively.
