AirAsia Retimes Its Kolkata-Bangkok Flight Schedule


International holiday makers who are often to be seen in a look out for tickets on cheap flights between India’s cultural capital, Kolkata and Thailand’s colourful capital, Bangkok have a reason to be happy. Popular low cost carrier, Thai AirAsia will soon start offering tickets on daily red-eye flights between India and Thailand. 

AirAsia will start operating its retimed services to and from Kolkata in India with effective from July 15th, 2013. Thai AirAsia currently offers tickets aboard daily services from Kolkata and Chennai to the Thai capital.

Airline’s press release revealed that the carrier has announced to offer tickets on daily red-eye flights in order to please tickets seekers who prefer to arrive in Bangkok early in the morning, in order to enjoy a full day in the city before catching their flights back to India. Besides, the rescheduled flights will also please travellers from India who look for convenient connections to travel to beyond destinations with the carrier.

With effect from July 15th, 2013, daily flight (FD 2672) to Bangkok will depart India’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata at 1:45am and will arrive at Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport at 5:55am. Similarly, daily flight from Don Mueang International Airport (FD 2671) will depart at 12:05am and will arrive at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport at 1:15 am.

With its modern and fuel-efficient fleet of narrow-body Airbus and Boeing airliners, Thai Air Asia offers tickets on its extensive network of domestic and regional flights scheduled for destinations across Thailand and Asia.
