Thai Airways introduces new bookings system

Thai Airways has announced it is to start using a new reservation system which it hopes will work more efficiently.

Travellers booking flights to Bangkok with Thai Airways could soon find that the airline's booking system is working better than ever following the announcement that it is switching to a new service.

The airline has now partnered with Abacus to utilise its Direct Connect Availability service, something which it hopes will help it to boost its reach into the international market.

"We are confident that Abacus' extensive network of travel agents across Asia will allow us to provide more services to more agents and passengers," said Chumnan Chiengkul, manager of passenger inventory with Thai Airways.

He added that the company is excited to be working with Abacus in its attempts to expand its reach.
