Martial arts enthusiasts taking cheap flights to Bangkok could check out the Thailand vs Challenger Grand Opening, which takes place at the destination's River City Hall on July 23rd.
The show, organised by Elite Boxing, will see several Muay Thai fighters from the country take on overseas challengers in a series of bouts that boasts the tagline 'Defending National Pride'.
Antuan Sianboxing, Cyrus Washington and Valdet Gashi from France, the US and Germany are the opponents currently signed up, with more due to follow.
On the home side will be superstars Kaoklai Kaennorsing, Nonsai Sor Sanyakorn and Bovy Sor Udomsor among others.
Co-founder and managing director of Elite Boxing Toli Makris said: "Despite the success we had with the events abroad last year, it was very important for us to keep the Grand Opening in Thailand, as this is the home of Muay Thai."
