Anyone taking cheap flights to Dubai in August will be able to witness a centuries-old tradition, as Muslims in the country observe Ramadan.
The Islamic occasion is due to run from August 1st to August 29th, during which time believers are not permitted to eat or drink during daylight hours.
While travellers are not forced to do the same, it is respectful not to consume anything in front of others who are fasting, instead having meals behind closed doors.
