Wanderlust suggests seven free Thai treats

A global travel magazine has suggested the top places to visit in Bangkok for free.

Budget travellers booking flights to Thailand may be glad to learn that a leading travel magazine has just named its top seven things to do for free in Bangkok.

Wanderlust advises film lovers that they can enjoy a free movie at the Goethe Institute and the Japan Foundation, which both host screenings of international films with English subtitles.

Travellers looking for peace and quiet can escape the city and discover the Wat Mahathat temple, which includes free meditation sessions, as led by the local monks, three times per day.

For a more active experience, why not take a free dance lesson? Fogo Vivo at the President Tower Arcade hosts free Brazilian dance classes every Friday night, while Club La Ruede offers free tango lessons every Monday.
