Air Arabia to Increase Flights Frequency to India

The low-cost carrier, Air Arabia is amplifying its flight services to India. One of the popular low cost carriers among passengers across Middle East and North Africa, the airline will operate double daily flights from its prominent hub, Sharjah, UAE to Indian capital, Delhi.

The airline currently operates seven weekly flights between Delhi-Sharjah. Commencing from September 1, the airline will increase the flight frequency to fourteen per week.

The carrier hopes to offer convenient services to visit the vibrant city of Delhi.

As per the flights schedule given in the company’s press release, it will offer flights 14 times per week. Flights to India will depart Sharjah International Airport daily at 07:45 A.M. local time (LT) and 23:20 P.M. (LT). Return flights will take off from Delhi International Airport daily at 13:05 P.M. (LT) and 04:40 A.M. (LT).

Air Arabia started offering services to India connecting Delhi on 31st March 2008 and gained popularity among countless passengers. The country has become a key market for Air Arabia which is now serving 13 Indian cities from Sharjah.

The airline is the largest Middle Eastern carrier to serve India and one of the major air carriers to provide extensive network to passengers across GCC, Europe and Asia. The increased flight frequency will definitely benefit the international travellers in UAE, Asia, UK and rest of the Europe. With this, they will be able to choose from a plenty of connecting flight options for a seamless connectivity to India and beyond.

Thai Smile Makes Travellers Grin With India-Bangkok Flights!

British travellers who are often to be seen in a lookout for cheap flights to Bangkok via India can now afford a smile as Thai Smile is launching flights connecting Hyderabad in South India with Bangkok.

The new light-premium subsidiary of Thai Airways, Thai Smile is all set to start operating its flights from India connecting Hyderabad and Bangkok from September 16, 2012.

India’s culturally rich city, Hyderabad will be airline’s fourth global destination. Reports indicate that the new carrier will take over Thai Airways’ Hyderabad-Bangkok route and will make it to a daily flight service.

The airline will deploy A320 aircraft for its new flights.

The budget carrier will offer around 15% cheaper airfares as compared to the regular Thai Airways flight tickets in an endeavour to please the budget travellers who look for relatively cheap flights tickets to travel between the destinations.

The passenger traffic on Thailand-Hyderabad sector is pretty high with many flyers travelling between these popular holiday destinations. Experts believe that the new budget carrier will help to further enhance the passenger traffic on the Hyderabad-Bangkok route.

Thai Smile Airways is also planning to introduce flights to a few more destinations in India. However, the airline will start operating flights to new Indian cities only when it gets a positive response from its maiden service to India.

Besides its new flights between Hyderabad and Bangkok, the airline also plans to connect popular destinations like Phuket and Krabi to India.
