Foreign travellers who hold tickets on flights to Mumbai, India and who do not wish to splurge massively on accommodation alternatives can afford a smile as Ginger Hotels has come up with its first address in the financial capital of India.
Ginger, a budget brand that is operated by Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), has established 26th property in the country. It was inaugurated by Raymond Bickson, MD and CEO, IHCL, few days back.
This 116-room mid-range property is primarily targeted towards business travellers purchasing tickets on flights bound to India’s business hub. Although, the Ginger brand is identified as a name mostly catering to budget travellers who also book cheap tickets on flights, the company’s Mumbai address will be more of a mid-segment option, serving mostly mid-level executives and businessmen taking flights tickets to the city.
The guest rooms will feature electronic locks, a work area and a LCD television with satellite channels, direct-dial telephone, mini-fridge and tea / coffee maker. Located near domestic and international airports, the hotel is surely a fine option for foreign travellers taking India bound flights tickets.
In a bid to offer even more options for India bound travellers who purchase flights tickets, Ginger Hotels has plans to set up properties throughout the country. The company seeks to add approximately 50 more properties over the next few years and hopes to feature on the radar of domestic and foreign travellers taking tickets on India bound flights.
