Indigo All Set to Add More Mumbai-Muscat Flights

India’s popular no-frills airline, IndiGo is all set to increase its flights services between India’s popular destination of Mumbai and Muscat with effect from 16 June, 2013. Etihad Airways and South African Airways Sign Codeshare Pact

UAE’s flag carrier, Etihad (EY) and South African Airways (SA) have got into a mutual alliance by signing a codeshare agreement. The two carriers have signed the pact to offer more flight options to fliers.

Etihad to Increase Capacity on Abu Dhabi-New York Flights

More seats will be available for travellers who seek tickets on the Abu Dhabi-New York flights. Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has announced its decision to deploy Wi-Fi enabled Boeing 777-300ER on the popular New York service from June 1, 2013.

The aircraft will replace the Airbus A340-500 that’s currently plying on the route. Boeing 777-300ER will have three travel classes and a total of 328 seats, offering more options to those booking tickets on flights. There will be eight Diamond First class, 40 Pearl Business class and 280 Coral Economy class seats. Abu Dhabi-New York service is hugely popular with fliers. In 2012, as many as 155,000 passengers booked tickets with Etihad to fly on the route.
