Air India Plans To Mitigate Passenger Inconvenience

Hit by pilot agitation, Air India is planning to roll out a sustainable contingency plan to provide hassle free air travel to the foreign tourists who book outbound and inbound flights to India with the airline.

Air India, the national carrier of India is contriving a sustainable contingency plan to mitigate the trouble faced by the flyers due to the ongoing pilot agitation that has resulted in cancellation of several international flights.

Air India, popular among travellers seeking flights to India, is going through a rough patch with pilots not reporting for duty for past few days. The contingency plan is likely to save the travellers from this inconvenience, providing them with a hassle free travel experience.

Air India's new schedule will soon be formalized and put into action, says the airline's press release. The airline is also trying to resolve its issues of scarcity of pilots for wide-bodied aircraft by seeking wet leasing options for another four to five flights.

A wet lease is an arrangement in the aviation industry in which one airline offers an aircraft, complete crew, maintenance, and insurance, (ACMI) to another airline.
