Holiday makers planning to organise holidays and looking for tour packages to India in the coming future will have the opportunity to consider some of the newest luxury accommodation options that are being established by Tata Group’s Indian Hotels. In a bid to expand its operations in the country, the hospitality firm is planning to establish 19 new properties under ‘The Gateway Hotels and Resorts’ brand in four years.
The firm currently has 2,200 rooms under the Gateway portfolio. The number is set to rise by 2,000 once the planned hotels are fully developed and are ready to welcome tourists on holidays in India. Gateways are 5-star full-service resorts that are most likely to appeal to luxury seekers who consider lavish holidays and corresponding tour packages in India.
The company’s management is confident about the proposed development of properties. The number of hotels will go up to 42, verified the firm’s COO who’s quoted in online news reports.
New accommodation units will be established in Kolkata, Raipur, Pune, Hyderabad, NCR, Corbett Park, Bengaluru and Gondia in Maharashtra, among others. Vacationers in the hunt for holidays and tour packages in these cities and regions will surely be able to take advantage of the firm’s proposed alternatives. Currently, the hospitality firm has properties across India at top holiday destinations such as Agra, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Varanasi. Even at prominent business destinations such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Calicut and Vadodara, one can find Gateway lodgings.
