SpiceJet, the low-cost airline of India, is introducing direct flights from the Indian city of Pune to Sharjah in UAE. Commencing from 21 September 2013, the new services will benefit the business and leisure travellers who look for comparatively cheap deals on tickets for flying on the route.
The India based airline is planning to deploy its new generation Boeing 737-800 on new services. It is a state of the art aircraft that seats about 189 passengers.
Pune is SpiceJet’s third Indian destination to be linked with the emirate. At present, the airline offers tickets for flying from two Indian destinations - Varanasi and Lucknow to Sharjah. Furthermore, it also runs daily flights from four cities of India including Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Kochi to Dubai.
Pune and Sharjah are among the major business centres of India and UAE with good number of travellers flying between the destinations. Consequently, the demand for tickets on flights between India and UAE constantly remains high. It is believed that the launch of new flights is going to provide enhanced connectivity, flexibility and wider choices to these fliers who seek cheap fares on tickets.
SpiceJet is going to be the first airline in the industry to directly connect Pune with Sharjah. To celebrate the development, it is offering introductory fares. Travellers can draw advantages of these attractive fares and reserve tickets.
According to the schedule, flight SG 051 from Pune will depart at 2230 hours, arriving Sharjah at 0025 hrs. Return flights SG 052, on the other hand, will leave emirate at 0125 hrs and land in India at 0600 hrs.
