Travellers taking flights to India will have more luxury hotel options available to them in top tourist cities of Delhi and Goa. Lebua Hotels & Resorts, a luxury hotel chain is refurbishing a property in Delhi and setting up a new hotel in Goa.
Business travellers and holiday tour makers booking flights to India and landing up in Delhi or Goa would soon have another alternative as far as luxury accommodation is concerned.
Lebua Hotels & Resorts, a luxury hotel chain, has decided to expand its presence in India after opening its first property in the country in Delhi. The Thai hospitality group is now planning to establish a 14-room, 40-villa property in Goa, another top holiday destination that beguiles many fun seekers to book airlines tickets to India.
The property is most likely to open its doors to guests in May 2013. Reportedly, the group is also scouting for land to build its third property in India, which is expected to come up in Cochin, yet another major travel destination in southern part of India.
The group's Delhi property is partially operational with some refurbishment still remaining. The hotel will be formally launched in September, along with restaurants Sirocco II and Breeze II. If company's claims are to believed then Lebua Delhi's Indian restaurant would be the world's most expensive Indian eatery – something that really wouldn't excite budget travellers taking cheap flights to India much. The restaurant will have Michelin-starred chefs as consultants, says the report published in an Indian financial daily.
