Mumbai is poised to host the toast of the fashion world in the coming days as part of its fashion week.
Mumbai is set to see some of the world's most stylish people and amazing designs being paraded in the city as part of its fashion week.
Starting today (March 2nd 2012), the event will showcase the very best designers from both India and beyond.
Lakme Fashion Week will showcase the creations of more than 80 designers and over 400 buyers have been registered to attend the event.
This year, it will run to March 6th and will see designers such as Krishna Mehta and Bibhu Mohapatra displaying their latest designs on the catwalks.
It is the 13th time that the event has been hosted, although in the very early years it took place in Delhi.
