Menara airport to city centre
The airport is 4 km away from the Marrakech city centre. There is a bus service every half hour, however the best way to travel from the airport is by petit taxi, the cost around 20dh. Grands Taxis have a flat rate of 60dh from the airport to Djemaa el Fna and they can carry up to 6 people.
Marrakech Train
The train station is located at the edge of Gueliz in Marrakech city, the new city, and the best way to get from there to the centre is by petit taxi. There is also a bus service linking from the station with Place Foucauld next to the square of the Djemaa el Fna.
Marrakech Coach
The coach companies and they all stop at the gare routiere outside at old city’s walls near the Bab Doukkala for the exception of CTM and Supratour coaches that stop outside their offices in the new city and near the train station respectively.
Grands Taxis
The Grands Taxis arrives and departs from the Bab Doukkala.
They can carry upto 6 people and their prices are set prices intended per trip and not per person.
Petits Taxis
Petits taxis are metre operated and can take upto 3 people. They are available all over in Marrakech and can be stopped on the street. Make sure you insist on having the metre on or agree on a set fee for a said journey.
Horse-drawn carriages
Horse-drawn carriages go from Place the De Foucauld and are a nice way to visit the Marrakech city. They can take upto 5 persons and cost roughly the same as petits taxis.
