Abu Dhabi marks start of Air Expo

Abu Dhabi has celebrated the start of the Air Expo at the state's Al Bateen Airport.

Abu Dhabi has heralded the start of the Air Expo at the Al Bateen Airport, which is being held to provide a place to share the latest developments in the aviation industry.

The event began today (March 6th) and saw Shaikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, national security advisor and deputy chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, opening the event.

The expo is being held for the first time and is seeing major players from across the aviation sector taking part in the show to put on displays featuring some of their most impressive new aircraft and discuss innovations in the sector.

Some of the big names which are showcasing their developments at the show include Etihad Airways, Royal Jet, Mubadala Aerospace, the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces and Rotana Jet.
