Sydney is soon to be able to boast its own version of Madame Tussauds.
Visitors taking flights to Sydney will soon be able to attend a new attraction in the city in the shape of Madame Tussauds.
The world-famous exhibition of famous people produced in wax is to open a new branch in the Australian location in May 2012.
The new centre is to be situated next to the Aquarium in Darling Harbour and will be the fifth attraction owned by the Merlin group to open in the city.
As the location is known for having models of local celebrities as well as globally-known names, it has announced one of its first figures will be of Ray Meagher, who plays Alf Stewart in the soap Home and Away.
Other figures to be featured will include fellow Australians Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, as well as the likes of Lady Gaga.
