The Cape Town tourist board has picked out a range of family-friendly events and activities for the Easter period.
The South African city of Cape Town is expecting a seasonal rise in visitors during the coming weeks, with a range of family-friendly activities being laid on.
Mariette du Toit-Helmbold, chief executive officer of the local tourist board, said: "Easter in the Mother City is marked by mild sunny days and great events and activities aimed at the whole family."
She added that while the city is heading into its winter months, there is still plenty for visitors on flights to South Africa to enjoy outdoors, such as forest walks, wine tours and exploring the local heritage.
Visitors arriving this weekend (April 23rd to 24th) can catch the last of the Sunday Jazz Brunches at Winchester Mansions in Sea Point, with international musicians and romantic sea views.
